Fabrics that emotivate

For me this fabric spells sunshine, warm air, nakedness after swimming and reading the day away. I bought it in Sri Lanka last year, feeling all those things, and now it comes with me each trip away. This week has found me in Cambodia first for work meetings but extending into some quiet time by the river in Kampot. We slept in this floating bungalow, with the river eddying by, I also spent some time with Dorsu a beautiful and inspired garment workshop that I hope to donate some time later in the year.

This yellow is everywhere on this trip... or maybe my eyes are particularly receptive to the colour..

Finally we passed through Kep (below) and across the border back to Vietnam and Saigon. Now to visit some fabric markets and a new stockist L'usine.
